ST. PATRICK\'S DAY PARADE INFORMATION
On Wednesday, March 17, New York will "go green" when the 249th annual St. Patrick's Day
Parade marches up Fifth Avenue.
The parade kicks off at 44th Street at 11:00 AM, and will conclude in the late afternoon at East
86th Street. Marchers will form on 44th Street through 49th Street between Madison Avenue
and Sixth Avenue throughout the day, so expect parking restrictions and street closures through-out the area. Fifth Avenue will be closed between 42nd Street and East 96th Street, although there will be limited pedestrian crossing. When the NYPD gives us a full listing of street closures and traffic restrictions we'll post them on our website, so you can plan ahead!
Here at the East Midtown Partnership, we're taking our own advice and also planning ahead. Knowing that one of the city's largest parades brings with it tens of thousands of people to our community, our sanitation and security crews are already preparing to meet that challenge. If you have a specific sanitation or security concern, call us at 212-813-0030 and we'll work to address it.
